We hold photography classes including day workshops as well as evening classes. Our workshops are held in various locations around north essex, please see below for locations and dates. The evening classes are held in our Photography studio in Little Bentley, near Colchester. Gift vouchers are available please contact us.
One on One Photography Classes
location: As preferred
Half day workshops at a location of your choice (within north Essex). Courses are tailored to your needs. These can cover basics of getting to know your camera, downloading pictures, basic photoshop as well as more advanced SLR photography skills. Vouchers are available, please contact us.

- Camera instruction manual
- A transparent plastic bag makes a good, temporary waterproof cover for your camera
- Bring a tripod if you have one
One on one sessions are available.

Joanna started amateur photography in 2001, completing a City & Guilds photography course in 2005, BTEC with distinction in 2007 and an MSc in Biological Photography and Imaging with distinction from Nottingham University in 2009.
Since then she has had 2 exhibitions and enjoys selling her pictures through various online outlets as well various shops in her local area.
As part of her masters she very much enjoyed tutoring undergraduate students and in 2013 Joanna started to run photography workshops in the north Essex area.
What to bring
Dress in warm, comfortable clothing for outdoor, as we try to get outside for some if not all of our practical activities.
A waterproof/ windproof top will be useful.
Comfortable but strong footwear is advised for photographing outdoors, plus a garden kneeler or similar for getting low for some photos.
