In 2008 UK Commercial Radio set up a stand at the 3 major political party conferences. At RadioCentre I designed and built the mircosite where they posted all the interviews and photos for the RadioCentre members to download and use on their own station websites.

While it was quite a simple site, one page, I took the opportunity to try a few things like some Javascript page scrolling, CSS fixed positions and elastic layouts.

I always try and make my websites as flexible as possible so most of them tend to be elastic layouts or liquid. Its always quite a challenge but well worth it. With the party conference website I sized the Flash in ems and because flash was illustrated vectors it worked really well when users change the text size up or down allowing the Flash elements to scale relative to the text.
